Oh, of course, things we do with our spouses are used by them to make themselves happy or unhappy. But that's simply an act of courtesy and consideration (a hallmark of successful marriages). It is not a causal act that magically makes your wife happy. With most couples I have worked with where the wife is perpetually angry at the husband (and he is not doing the obvious things that upsets a wife i.e. affairs, drinking too much etc.), at the bottom of it we find a wife drowning in loneliness. Maybe that's hard to believe because her anger gets the opposite from her husband. However, she wants and needs more emotional intimacy and the husband, for whatever reason, is not providing it.

Some of those reasons include socialization and genetics. Most husbands are not nearly as attuned to emotional realities as their wives. Women in this culture are encouraged to use their intuition and develop their emotional prowess. Men are encouraged to be busy with physical accomplishments and managing literal things. As you can see, this leads to huge misunderstandings in a marriage.

If your wife is angry with you on a regular basis, I will agree with you husband, that does not feel to you like an invitation to intimacy. However, odds are, that's what she wants. I'm not talking about physical intimacy. I'm talking about emotional intimacy.

Try this magic: the next time your wife's anger hits you like a snow blizzard blowing out of Montana, take her by the hand, sit down with her, look her in the eyes and tell her you love her. Then, ask her to tell you what is bothering her and guarantee her that no matter what it is or how angry she gets, you're going to sit there and take it all in. Resolve to listen to whatever your wife has to say to you, no matter what.

Do not get up and go away in your own anger. Do not defend yourself. Do not explain yourself. Do not attack her or rebut her. All you have to do is be present, continue eye contact, and listen.

When she's finished, simply say this, "Thank you, sweetheart, for telling me what is in the depths of your heart. I relish and appreciate openness and emotional intimacy with you. I'm not very good at it, but I intend to get better. In the meantime, if I were in your shoes, I'd feel the same way you do. You have good reasons to be angry."

Broadly, there are two (2) ways to attack the lawn army worm and sod web worm. You will need to control these lawn insect pests with a safe and effective insecticide. Insecticides for lawn insects can be purchased from your local hardware or garden store. These insecticides are available in liquid form or in granular form.

The liquid insecticides need to be applied in early evening as they are photo-degradable (that is, the liquid insecticide breaks down in sunlight).

The granular insecticides, however, can be applied any time as they not affected by sunlight (that is, not photo-degradable). The granular insecticide is an insecticide that is coated around the carrier agent (the carrier being sand, and in some products the carrier is granular fertiliser). Therefore, you need to water in the granules to activate the insecticide.

The granular insecticide can be applied at a heavier rate to give longer (residual) control thereby ensuring a complete knockdown of the existing insect population and its life cycle. So for these (and safety) reasons we favour the use of granular insecticides over the liquid alternatives.

It is also possible to have this type of garden without solid sides. Start with a good layer of gravel for drainage and then mound up the soil you wish to use, make sure you loosen the ground underneath before putting down the soil.

As a surround for the bed you could use a thicker border of mulch as an edging. I would only do this if the pathways between the beds were not grass but a mulch or gravel so that weeds or grasses couldn't find their way into the growing area.

The pathways can be an attractive and low maintenance option too, especially if you use a wood chip or bark mulch or something like decomposed granite.

Raised bed vegetable gardens are meant to be low maintenance. That means by using this system, that is, adding your own soil mix to the beds, the weeds, pests and diseases are all but eliminated.

Better drainage is another advantage as having the bed raised allows the water to drain away and not leave the plants water-logged.

Crop rotation is very important when growing vegetables. Simply put, crop rotation means not growing the same vegetable two years in a row in the same spot.

Know your script. Read, re-read and then read again, and not just your own lines. Listen actively, you should give the impression that what your character is hearing is purely of that moment. Resist the temptation to be quick with your lines, just to prove you know them, it is a conversation after all. Be brave, the quickest way to improve your acting is to realize that your first choice will usually be the easiest for you to do - not the best one for the part. Look beyond your initial choice. Learn to breath, practice 20 minutes a day. Inhale as deeply as possible and exhale for twice the amount of time you spent inhaling (i.e. inhale 15 seconds exhale 30 seconds). This will help pre-audition stress and stage fright. Be professional, turning up on time, or early, will give you all the warm up time and, more importantly, the space you need. This one might not be so obvious, avoid bad mouthing your fellow actors. How to Build Cabinet Doors

So you've decided the kitchen needs a facelift but you don't want to get a second mortgage to do it. Putting up new cabinet doors can revitalize any dreary kitchen. It's a large project that requires a bit of woodworking know how but it's certainly a great way to get exactly the right cabinets for you. So read on for a guide on how to build cabinet doors.

The first thing you'll need to do is cut a rough door out of the same material your cabinets are made of.

Cut the sides of the door slightly longer than the cabinet frame

Reposition the wood and cut the top and bottom slightly larger than the frame opening.

Next item is to cut out the edges of the door.

Measure the height and width of the door frame. Trace this measurement onto the backside of the cabinet door.

Adjust your table saw so that the blade is roughly a third the depth of the wood.

Trim around the edges of the door.

Next you'll need a router to bevel the edges of the door.

Run the router around the sides, top and bottom of the cabinet door.

Wipe off and dust and take the door over to the cabinets and fit check it.

Trim off any areas that don't fit inside the frame

If everything fits snug go ahead and set the door aside and start on the next door.

Repeat this process for all of the single doors.

Making a set of double doors is a little bit different.

You'll use the same steps for creating the template except this time cut 1 sheet of wood that will fit both doors.

Once you've made this cut measure the center of the wood and cut it lengthwise splitting it into the two doors.

The reason for using a single sheet of wood is to preserve the wood grain pattern, the doors will match.

Don't rout or cut the inner length of the 2 doors since you'll want them to fit flush inside the cabinet.

At this point you'll need an assistant to hold the double doors in place to check the fit.

Since you didn't cut the middle line on the doors you can trim them down flush on these sides.

Now that you have all of the doors built it's time to sand everything down, smooth any edges and stain.

For sanding it's a good idea to work outside to limit the amount of fine saw dust that can settle on everything.

After you've finished sanding you'll need to stain.

Since this is a large project it's a good idea to go ahead and mix up multiple cans of stain into a larger bucket. This will assure a uniform color across all the doors.

Apply a protective varnish to the doors after the stain has dried.

That's all there is to the actual door build. Figuring out how to build cabinet doors can be pretty involved. As long as you have the time and proper tools though it's a rewarding way to save a lot of money in a kitchen remodel.
